Did Palin really sell the government plane on eBay?
Yes, it sold to a businessman from Valdez, Alaska, for $2.1 million. Palin’s predecessor, Frank Murkowski, used state money to buy the plane for $2.7 million.
No she didn’t. She tried to sell it on eBay (several times) and failed. Eventually she went through an airplane broker. Note, the article also says that the plane did not fly off the shelf on eBay and that the only serious offer through the site fell apart. Read more at the Anchorage Daily News.
